Track paying for college in the United States. Report only items from the last 7 days that are new, or that close within 30 days and have not appeared in this Tab: FAFSA and CSS Profile opening dates, changes and deadlines; Pell Grant, federal loan limit, interest rate, repayment plan and forgiveness changes with effective dates; state grant and scholarship deadlines and changes, named by state; national scholarships and essay contests awarding $1,000 or more with eligibility open to a broad pool; 529 and education tax credit rule changes; tuition, fee and financial aid policy changes and merit scholarship deadlines at the 50 largest US universities; and financial aid appeal windows. For each, give the award or change, eligibility, the effort required, the deadline and the official link, and put the program, state or university first in the title. Prefer Federal Student Aid, the Department of Education, state agencies, university financial aid offices, community foundations and established scholarship databases; ignore scholarships that charge a fee, sweepstakes-style drawings and expired listings. Use high severity for a FAFSA or federal loan change, a state deadline within 14 days, or a scholarship over $5,000 with broad eligibility. Return no more than 6 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for the award or change, eligibility, deadline and effort, how to apply, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
