Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: CMS Care Compare star rating, Leapfrog safety grade, US News and Lown ranking releases with the hospitals that moved two or more levels; CMS and state inspection reports, immediate jeopardy findings and corrective action plans; new infection, readmission, mortality and maternity outcome data releases; surgeon volume and outcome tool launches and updates; Joint Commission and DNV accreditation losses or conditions; price transparency compliance actions and penalties; FDA and ECRI patient safety alerts on procedures and devices; and new public ratings for ambulatory surgery centers and dialysis clinics. Prefer CMS, state health departments, rating publishers, accreditors, FDA, ECRI and established health reporting; ignore hospital marketing and unverified reviews, and never give individual medical advice.
