Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: FDA and manufacturer recalls or contamination alerts for pet food, treats and supplements; veterinary drug and vaccine shortages and new approvals; pet insurance price increases, coverage changes or withdrawals at Trupanion, Healthy Paws, Lemonade, Embrace, Nationwide, ASPCA, Fetch and Pets Best; airline, Amtrak, hotel and rental pet policy changes; boarding, grooming and pet store license actions; disease outbreaks in dogs or cats by state; and free or low-cost vaccine, microchip and spay and neuter clinics run by national organizations. Prefer FDA, AVMA, state agencies, company notices and established pet reporting; ignore product marketing. Put the brand, insurer or state first in the title and state what an owner should do. Use high severity for a recall with reported illness, an outbreak, or an insurance increase over 20 percent. Return no more than 6 findings.
