Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 12 hours: National Weather Service watches and warnings for hurricanes, tropical storms, wildfires, floods, tornadoes, winter storms and excessive heat affecting metros over 250,000 people; evacuation orders; utility public-safety power shutoffs from PG&E, SCE, SDG&E, Xcel, PacifiCorp and Hawaiian Electric; new federal or state disaster declarations; FEMA Individual Assistance, SBA disaster loan, unemployment and tax relief deadlines within 30 days; and state insurance department orders on claims. Prefer NWS, NHC, NIFC, state emergency agencies, utility outage pages, FEMA and SBA; ignore long-range speculation and unverified social posts. Put the state or metro and the hazard first in the title. Use high severity for evacuation orders, hurricane or extreme fire warnings, and aid deadlines within 7 days. Return no more than 8 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for who is affected, what to do, the deadline if any, and the source link.
