Rockets officially signed Marcus Smart and Bogdan Bogdanović in offseason
NBA.com’s offseason roundup lists Marcus Smart (two years) and Bogdan Bogdanović (one year) as official additions to the Houston Rockets, along with new deals for Isaiah Crawford, Tari Eason and Jae’sean Tate. These signings alter the Rockets’ veteran depth and backcourt makeup ahead of the 2026–27 season.

Former Rocket Montrezl Harrell attended Rio Grande Valley Vipers open tryout
Rockets Wire (USA Today) and HoopsHype report that Montrezl Harrell — the former Rockets big man and 2019–20 Sixth Man of the Year — participated in open tryouts for Houston’s G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The tryout is an attempt at an NBA/G League comeback but does not constitute a roster signing.
