The NBA's offseason roundup shows DeAndre Jordan agreed to a one-year deal with New Orleans and Trendon Watford also agreed to a one-year deal, confirming those roster additions for the Pelicans.

Pelicans acquired AJ Johnson in trade and waived Taj Gibson
The Pelicans received guard AJ Johnson from Memphis in the Jordan Hawkins trade and did not immediately waive Johnson; Taj Gibson was waived afterward to clear the roster spot. The team plans to bring Johnson to training camp as a potential backup ballhandler.

New Orleans added Malik Dia and New Orleans native Jaron Pierre Jr. as two-way players this summer; Dia impressed in Summer League and will start with the G League affiliate but could be available for call-ups if frontcourt injuries occur.
