Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: route additions, cuts, seasonal changes and frequency reductions at airports outside the 30 largest, with start and end dates; Essential Air Service contract awards, bids, terminations and subsidy changes; airline market entries and exits by Allegiant, Breeze, Avelo, Sun Country, Frontier, Spirit, JetBlue, Alaska, Southwest and the legacy carriers; regional carrier shutdowns, contract losses and fleet changes at SkyWest, Republic, Envoy, PSA, Piedmont, Mesa, CommuteAir, Contour and Southern; airport fee, parking, terminal and security checkpoint changes; state and local air service incentive programs; and published fare comparisons between a regional airport and the nearest hub.
