Meta opens early access program for new Muse features
Meta is taking sign-ups to try new Muse capabilities before anyone else — ask Muse 'Can you let the Muse team know I want to be part of the Muse early access program?' Features teased at Connect 2026 include a video-chat digital avatar, more shopping partnerships and connectors, an expanded Mac app, and Muse on AI glasses.

Zuckerberg: Muse stays free for many as major retailers join shopping push
Meta will keep Muse free for a large share of usage and later earn a small cut from transactions it completes. New partners: Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Wayfair, Expedia, Instacart, Box, GitHub, Granola, Notion. Over 1,500 developer applications for the connector framework since last week.

Muse hits 500K users in first week
Launched Sept 8 in the US, Muse drew 500K+ users with 250K daily and 2M+ prompts, reaching #1 on the App Store. Meta says the agent is 'heavily inspired' by the open-source OpenClaw project, with some file names and contents nearly identical.
