Brand Deal & Sponsorship Rate Watch

Why this is recommended

A published rate benchmark adds $500 to one negotiation; an affiliate commission cut from 4 percent to 1 percent needs a plan the day it is announced; an FTC action tells the creator what to fix before a letter arrives.

What the Tab covers

Who it is for

Creators who earn from sponsorships, affiliates and brand deals, and the managers who negotiate for them.

When it runs

Brands set budgets and platforms publish rate data early in the week, before pitches go out

Scope

Rate benchmarks from Influencer Marketing Hub, Kolsquare, Aspire, CreatorIQ, Later, Collabstr and agencies; Aspire, Grin, Collabstr, Passionfroot, ShopMy and LTK fees and payouts; FTC and state disclosure rules and enforcement; Amazon Associates, Impact, ShareASale, CJ, Rakuten and Awin commissions and cookies; brand budget signals from earnings calls and surveys; 1099, W-9 and international payments; effects estimated for 10,000 to 500,000 followers

Suggested task

The objective your Tab starts with. You can edit every line of it once the Tab is yours.

Published sponsorship and ad rate benchmarks by platform and audience size, influencer marketing platform fee and payout changes, FTC disclosure enforcement and rule changes, brand budget signals and category shifts, affiliate program commission changes and payment and tax changes, with the platform or brand first and the effect on a creator with 10,000 to 500,000 followers.

Track creator sponsorship economics. Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: sponsorship, ad and rate benchmarks published by Influencer Marketing Hub, Kolsquare, Aspire, CreatorIQ, Later, Collabstr and agencies; influencer platform fee, payout and matching changes at Aspire, Grin, Collabstr, Passionfroot, ShopMy and LTK; FTC and state disclosure rule changes and enforcement actions; affiliate program commission and cookie changes at Amazon Associates, Impact, ShareASale, CJ, Rakuten and Awin; brand budget shifts reported in earnings calls and industry surveys; and 1099, W-9 and international payment changes. Prefer platform announcements, FTC releases, published surveys and established creator-economy reporting; ignore course marketing and anecdotes. Put the platform, program or brand first in the title and state the effect for a creator with 10,000 to 500,000 followers. Use high severity for an affiliate commission cut, an FTC enforcement action, or a payout change with under 30 days of notice. Return no more than 6 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for what changed, the earnings effect, what to do, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
