Model Train, Diecast & Scale Model Watch

Why this is recommended

A $400 locomotive that will never be run again once the preorder closes, an RLC membership window that opens once a year, a price increase of 15 percent announced with 30 days of notice, or a train show 20 miles away are each worth the membership to a collector who buys three things a year.

What the Tab covers

Who it is for

Suggested task

The objective your Tab starts with. You can edit every line of it once the Tab is yours.

New locomotive, rolling stock and set announcements with preorder deadlines from Lionel, Bachmann, Athearn, Kato, Walthers, Rapido, MTH successors and Märklin, Hot Wheels Red Line Club, Matchbox and premium diecast releases with member windows, Tamiya, Bandai, Revell and Airfix model kit releases and reissues, price increases and tariff effects, hobby shop and manufacturer closures, train show and swap meet dates, digital control and app changes, recalls and secondary market moves, with the brand or product first and the preorder deadline in the title.

Track model railroading, diecast and scale modeling for US hobbyists. Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: new locomotive, rolling stock and set announcements with preorder deadlines and delivery dates from Lionel, Bachmann, Athearn, Kato, Walthers, Rapido, ScaleTrains, Broadway Limited, Atlas, MTH successors, Märklin, Hornby, LGB and Piko; Hot Wheels Red Line Club, Matchbox Collectors, Mini GT, Tarmac Works, AutoArt, Kyosho and Greenlight release and membership windows; Tamiya, Bandai, Revell, Airfix, Hasegawa, Trumpeter and Academy kit releases and reissues; price increases and tariff effects with dates; hobby shop and manufacturer closures, sales and acquisitions; National Train Show, Amherst, Trainfest, iHobby and major regional show dates; DCC, sound and app control changes; recalls; and secondary market moves of 20 percent or more on top items. Prefer manufacturer announcements, club pages, hobby retailer notices, show organizers and established hobby reporting; ignore scalper listings and rumors. Put the brand or product first in the title with the price and the deadline. Use high severity for a preorder closing within 14 days on a limited run, a membership window opening, or a price increase of 10 percent or more. Return no more than 8 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for what it is, the price, the deadline, where to order, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
