Expects a car upgrade in Baku but cautions it may not close the gap
Williams staff and drivers said a planned upgrade for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is due to arrive but warned it is unlikely to instantly lift them into midfield contention. Both Williams drivers call for Madring layout changes after debut race

Carlos Sainz retires from Spanish GP and receives five-second penalty
Carlos Sainz retired from the Madring Spanish Grand Prix after sustaining floor damage following contact at Turn 1; he was also hit with a five-second time penalty for an incident with Fernando Alonso. This left Williams with only Alex Albon to finish the race and further hampered the team’s weekend in Madrid.
